Found the birth data of athlete Marion Jones, with the time coming from the
birth certificate.
It is an interesting study case.

We see a fragile Metal DM, with only one minor root in Dog month, and
timeliness stage 6 is past peak and declining.
No Parallel, but there is strong Earth Resource in the chart.
However it is still a weak DM chart, and more Earth would be detrimental as
it could burry the weak Metal DM (more on that later).
This makes the chart structure pretty bad, and it also has a bad flow of
Chi.

Main prevailing Chi is Yang Fire/Power on the Month Stem, which indicates
she will be hungry for Power/Fame in her early adult stage of life.
But this Power is sitting on its own grave-Dog and has no other root in the
chart.
This already suggests that whatever fame she collects, may prove to be dead
in the water eventually, it goes in the grave.

Her Output/performance is Water and it comes at peak timeliness in the Luck
Period of Yang Earth Rat, ages 18-27.
It is during this period she delivered her best performances at the Olympics
and won 5 gold medals in the sprint competitions.

Year 2004 she entered a new LP of Yin Earth Ox.
This is a full Earth LP and Ox is also the grave for Metal (her DM).
The Metal becomes burried by all this Earth. It is a bad time.
From 2004 onwards rumors increased that she had used banned substances,
eventually she admitted to have taken them.
Yin Earth is her Unbecoming Resources, when it surfaces the use of banned
substances (Resource) is revealed.
Now she will be watching the Beijing olympics from her prison cell..


Interesting example of what can happen when weak DM goes into grave stage,
and gets burried by too much Resource at the same time.
She did not die physically, but it is a kind of death psychologically.

Her life will improve after age 38 , when she goes into LPs that bring
Metal/Parallel on the Stem.

-- My two cents worth of analysis :P --

she is born in month of October (autumn) when metal is strongest. Hence she has control over her negative elements water and fire (talent and influence/power), and with help from "Noble people" (Bing in Month October) to acheive early success.

However, being a strong DM, 28-37 LP becomes down period (overwhelmed by bad influence, earth/resource element).

Possible in Year 2010, maybe a turning point for her if with help from "Noble people" again.

This DM is still quite timely in season, as you point out, but it is not a strong DM chart because it is burdened too much by the rest of the chart.
There is no any Parallel to support the Metal DM, and both Earth Resources in the Branches are under attack from the Rabbit right next to them. The Earth Branches can win because Wood is timely weak in autumn, but this leaves the Earth Branches with less energy to support Metal.

To be "timely" and to be "strong" are two different things.
An untimely DM can be strong if the rest of the chart supports it.
A seasonally timely DM can be weak if the rest of the chart attacks or burdens it.

That distinction is often forgotten.
