there is one idiom in Mongolia. "A horse of fisher is thirsty." Is that true? I think some feng shui adviser and lama, live not so enough rich and happy. why?
This is a good question and I thinK all of us have put it once. Those who have made some money are mostly with trading their books or selling cures and enhancements.Feng Shui Is not enough by itself to produce wealth,Heavenly luck and Man luck are in the play ,too as you very well know once you are in the cycles of studying chinese metaphysics.
P.S I would like to address you with your first name but sorry I am not familiar with which name you use first in your country,if you may help me for next time ,thank you
Despina ( this is my first name)

Hi all,
Before one can look into the question one would first have to agree what to consider "rich and happy".
I am not rich by any standards, but I am probably more happy than a lot of people who have much more money than I do.
In fact, if we look at a lot of celebrities then it would be easy to come to the conclusion that rich, famous and beautiful are the best recipe for unhappiness.
They can't trust anybody, and they are in constant worry of losing their wealth and being forced to cut back on a lifestyle they have become used to.
The poor person doesn't have that kind of worries, so he can be relax and happy more easily.
So which feng shui practitioners are not happy?
Perhaps they just have a different idea of "happy" than you do...

Hi,
I would not equalize all good feng shui masters and advisers to rich people, who are successful in a material way. It depends on their personal values and approach to life. And also on the circumstances around them.
I don't know what you mean by fengshui practitioner live poor. You mean they cannot get rich with their own fengshui arrangement? or they cannot get rich by selling fengshui idea?
Fengshui skill is just like a certificate of Degree in any professional fields. You can use during job seeking. It will help you smoother your job seeking. BUt the job you apply does not guarantee your life success. Maybe just enough for you to eat, sleep or even play but not to the extend of marry, produce and etc. YOu need to have extra skill in order to get marry...to flirt! You need to have good health in order to produce.
Again how much have you learned fengshui? Are you in the right track?
this idea is only idea not to talk too much. Especially feng shui learners. Wealth. What it means? There are many kinds of wealth. In Mongolia or in some countries, I know there are some lama's and feng shui practitioner live not in good place, not in good house. In other words- no materialic wealth. And also I mean materialic wealth, not about happy or other wealths.
So, my friends! Share your oppinion in Real Fengshui master must live with enough wealth for the example to others and some of customers.?
or they're not have to aim to reach materiallic wealth to do well jobs for the people. It means like lama's

Hi all,
I think one of the problems is that the power and effect of feng shui and astrology has been overestimated, not in the last place by the teachers themselves who use it as an argument for high fees.
So expectations are too high, and when expectations are too high then the resulting disappointment is equally high.
We just need to read some of the recent topics on this network and we see that some people expect the chart to predict when somebody will die, they expect feng shui to bring great riches or happiness, etc...
But is that a reasonable expectation?
Let's take a look at the bigger picture.
Feng shui has now been practiced in the West for long enough to start making some broad assessments.
I think it is fair to say that in the West the USA and the UK probably have the largest number of feng shui practitioners per capita, and they were also the first countries where feng shui came into "fashion". This is simple to understand, because they had earlier and more access to books and materials in their native language. And once it became a hit in those countries the books got translated in other languages.
So , where is the prosperity?
As it turns out the USA and the UK, are among the worst hit by the recent crisis.
If feng shui brings more prosperity and protects against sha qi, then shouldn't these countries have done a bit better than others?
And within the USA it is California that is the worst hit.
California being the place with the largest share of practitioners, as it has more of everything "esoteric"...
But I just read an article that there are now 1.5 million homeless children in the USA, with 300000 of them in California alone.
So more prosperity seems to be in places that have less feng shui practitioners and astrologers.
Coincidence?
We should give a hand to help others. We are, the Feng Shui Advisors, should see to a people life. Where is need Feng Shui? you mean well jobs for the people who need helps. So main goal of us is to develope Feng Shui, Four Pillars Esoteric, I ching, and all sectors belongs to Feng Shui.
But my idea is Feng shui masters have to live balancing the materialic and idealic wealth. In my opinion most important wealth is health, love and family wealth.
So if someone speak like "A horse of fisher is thirsty" he or she didn't know thier mean goal or idea.
hi,
"i watched a TV programme about Vastu. A respected Indian spiritual Guru said Vastu and feng Shui dont really work."
It is certainly true that the external environment makes a huge difference. I've used feng shui profesionnally for nearly 10 years now, and see from historical records that this rule has some solide ground.
"When people place a cure they put more positive energy into what they want to achieve and often get good results."
If this were that simple, then all feng shui book avid readers would be wealthy, happily married, a.s.o. That cannot be entirely true. Having said that, I do believe that some very rare people have this type of capacity of creating something in the manifested worl using mind power . From what I know, there is very little chance (probablby not even any chance at all) that they can be bothered with this.
" When people place a cure they put more positive energy into what they want to achieve and often get good results. Fshui is only a psychological factor."
I think it's an issue all practictionners and students have to face at least one time. Only repetitive evidence can make sense to an individual. If you ask me if I've witnessed evidence, I would say today that after intense practice, I conclude there is some juice here. I wouldn't go as far as saying it can solve all.
Only recently I've come to consider whether the statement someone brought up earlier in the thread makes real sense, that is "it is also karmic". I first discarded the argument as a good excuse for lack of results, lack of understanding, lack of knowledge. It makes me think of a discussion I had with a friend some time ago: her work was highly praised in a book that sells really well, after 6 months or so she's had only one customer calling after reading the book. In the mean time other people in the same book get many more. And the interesting thing is that she explained to me she always gets her customers through networking, word of mouth, hardly ever through media or advertising; the reflected that her thoughts on this is that some people will best energetically interact with paper media sphere than others. Today it makes sense to me (and also I can testify the same thing: 80% clients come from word of mouth, not from whateever media attention we get). That's got a karmic flavour to me.
As to the issue regarding wealth and feng shui: I'm doing reasonably well, I have no idea if you'd consider me wealthy, I don't think so, especially if wealthy means a swimming pool villa, in my case this would not fit because I like swimming in 25 meter long swimming pools minimum, so that's not really family groudn type.
There are things probably I cannot do because of money (like spending 2 months in Japan travelling extensively, hiring a 24/7 translator and visiting places I always wanted to go to), but I have quite a bit of free time, even though I work a hell of a lot, that I can use for what I wish be it hiking, researching or other things.
And to top it all, I do know personally feng shui professionals (at least 2) who do extremely well, financially speaking, and none of them is Asian.
Regards,
Nathalie

>When people place a cure they put more positive energy into what they want to achieve and often get good results. Fshui is only a psychological factor.
You can put a flower anywhere and if you believe it will help your career, it will probably do.
---
But this is clearly not true.
Then people who "pray" for something would get just the same results. Do they?
People pray for everything ranging from peace to a better paying job.
If it is only about psychology then they should get what they ask for.
But people have probably never prayed more than in the Middle Ages, yet they were befallen by poverty, wars and plagues.
My old grandmother used to tell how they had to wake up every morning at 4 or 5 am to start praying.
They usually prayed for things like peace or bread on the table.
But the country (Belgium) was soon blessed by two world wars and hunger.
So if it was only a question of psychology.
Then why did their belief in the prayer not work the same results as somebody who believes that the feng shui cure will help him.?
