Four Pillars and Branch Combination

Hallo again! Is there anything specific if a person has a three branch combination in his 4P chart? For example: day-si, month-you, year-chou. Except for the strong metal wich equals to that combination?

That's a good question! It depends on the whole picture of the chart and how the combination relates to the day master (the personality).
It's important to see whether the day master (the stem of the day pillar) is strong or weak. Generally speaking, acording to some sources, a triple branch combination in a weak day master may suggest a person who often lacks personal opinion, he could be too much trusting and accepts everything what is told to him. Usually, a weak day master with too many triple combinations indicates a good listener, a person who is very adaptive and is a good diplomat.
While, if it is a strong day master with many triple combinations in the chart, then it shows a good leader, the others listen to him...

Yes, his day master is weak. Day:ding-si, month: sin-you, year:guei-chou. His hour elements did not support his DM too. He is very adaptive, but not a good listner /he gets the impression to be such/ , nervous, very intelligent and a good observer.

Having a Branch combination as such means nothing in itself.
It has to be interpreted against the background of the rest of the chart.
And then you have to see how the picture fits in with the actual facts of that person's life.
A given chart can lead to very different lives outcomes, depending on what the person actually does with the potential.

I may have the best car , but if I don't put any fuel in the tank then even the bicycles will pass by on me.

The "potential" of the person was the feature that I have searched for. Because it is very rare to meet such a triple combination in a natal chart first, and second in that exact order -day, month, year ......si, you, chou /not chou, si, you or you si chou etc..../, but if that might not give any specific information its ok.
